ECLIPSE AH-MA BURNERS

Product Applications
Designed for trouble-free make-up or process air heating.
Eclipse AH-MA burners are raw gas, direct fired burners that produce a uniform, odorless, and smokeless flame ideal for heating fresh air in make-up and process air heating applications. The AHMA design provides stable operation over a wide range of velocities, inputs and fuels.
AH-MA easily passes all global standards for indoor air quality through a wide operational range. It complies with ANSI Z21.20 design standards and is used in systems which meet ANSI Z83.4 / CGA 3.7 emissions standards for NOx and CO.
The aluminum burner body creates a lightweight, corrosion resistant burner. Cast iron and corrosion resistant cast iron bodies are also available. Divergent air wings are made of stainless steel. The burner bodies supply fuel to the center of the air wings to control the air and fuel mixture inside the burner and to optimize emissions and efficiency.
Low pressure models, requiring only a 6.0” w.c. êP natural gas at 800,000 Btu/hr/LF, are also available.
Product Applications
Eclipse Airheat V1

Product Applications
Eclipse AirHeat v1 line type burners are ideal for generating volumes of clean, hot air. Applications include ovens, dryers, fume incinerators, and similar industrial equipment. Some models feature an integral combustion air blower mounted on the burner’s steel case. By supplying the correct air volume and pressure to the burner, the blower allows stable operation over a wide range of duct velocities without installing a profile plate around the burner. The burner can also be paired with a remote blower for use in recirculating air applications.
- Wide variety of configurations and packages available depending on application requirements
- Up to 40:1 Thermal turndown
- Operates on any commercially available gas-natural gas or propane; butane versions available
- As little as 10% excess air at high fire; and depending on the installation configuration, no oxygen is required from the process air stream.
- Burner mounting arrangements include duct mounting, or side-plate mounting for simplified installation.
- Robust, reliable operation based on vast history and experience.

- Turndown range of up to 90:1, depending on burner size and chamber conditions
- Direct-drive air butterfly eliminates linkages which can slip or jam during operation
- Fast-mixing nozzle provides clean, stable flame at all firing rates and releases heat into the chamber, not the oven wall
- Ideal for emission-sensitive processes due to low NOx, CO and aldehydes
Applications
RatioMatic is a packaged air heating burner that features simple operation and robust, reliable performance. The ratio regulator and direct drive air butterfly simplify start-up and adjustment. The fast mixing nozzle provides a clean, stable flame at all firing rates. RatioMatic delivers high fuel efficiency and low NOx, CO and aldehyde outputs. The RatioMatic design takes the guesswork out of start-up and adjustment.

MAXON M-PAKT
ULTRA LOW NOx BURNERS

Product Applications
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Typical MAXON quality and reliability is found in the MPAKT® Ultra Low NOx Burners, which provide the world’s lowest levels of NOx and CO. NOx is typically single digits in most applications. The M-PAKT® low NOx burner is suitable for industrial air heating for ovens and dryers for paint finishing, paper making, food baking, textile production, grain drying, and make-up air heating. MPAKT® burners substantially reduce emissions in oxidizers, incinerators, heat exchangers and process heaters.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Produces extremely low emissions of NOx and CO
- Burns natural gas or propane
- Flame contained almost entirely inside the discharge sleeve
- Compact packaged design with a variety of control methods
- Durable steel outer construction with stainless steel internals
TYPICAL EMISSIONS
The M-PAKT® Ultra Low Emissions Burner produces NOx and CO emissions up to 95% less than conventional burners. Without exotic alloys or fragile ceramics, the burner reduces NOx with a patented, advanced flame stabilization. The M-PAKT® burner’s advanced anchoring of the flame reduces prompt NOx while thermal NOx is suppressed with an extremely uniform mixture.
In application, the M-PAKT® Ultra Low Emissions Burner produces single digit NOx corrected to 3% oxygen. In most installations, CO production is limited to extremely low levels. Exact emissions performance may vary in your application. Contact MAXON for information on installation specific estimates or guarantees. No guarantee of emissions is intended or implied without specific written guarantee from MAXON.
Factors that can affect emissions:
- Process air direction, temperature and velocity
- Process stream constituents, especially nitrogen bearing compounds
- Combustion air quality, relative humidity and filtration
- Burner location and installation
- Fuel quality and heating value
• Emissions instrument calibration and testing protocol
